SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to join our partnership SEN and SEMH Schools in South Manchester.

In this role as a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support in preparation and execution of lessons and activities under the supervision of the class teacher
• Engage and motivate children to engage in their learning and achieve their learning goals
• Support in the assessment of children’s learning and record their development
• And much more!

The ideal Teaching Assistant, will have:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs or social, emotional, and mental health needs
• A proactive and intuitive approach to working with children
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations and needs
• An enhanced DBS on the update service- This can be applied for through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
