Teaching Personnel – Full-Time SEMH Teaching Assistant (Cranborne, Dorset)
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a specialist secondary school in Cranborne that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school is seeking a committed full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible, Monday–Friday on an ongoing basis.
The role:

Supporting pupils aged 11–16 with SEMH and behavioural needs
-
Providing 1:1 and small-group support
-
Helping pupils manage emotions, behaviour and engagement in class
-
Working collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff
The ideal candidate:
-
Confident, resilient and calm under pressure
-
Experience with SEN, youth work, residential care or behaviour support is desirable
-
Able to build positive relationships with pupils
-
Available full-time and able to start immediately

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
