SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) & Teaching Assistants Needed

Full-Time Opportunities Across South West & South London

Salary: Competitive Daily Rates (£90-£110 per day depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and General Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of secondary schools, specialist provisions, and SEN schools throughout South West and South London.

Whether you have extensive SEN experience or a strong background supporting young people in education, we are keen to hear from individuals who are passionate about making a difference and helping students achieve their full potential.

The Role

Successful candidates may be required to:

  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
  • Support small intervention groups within the classroom.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Work with students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language difficulties, MLD, PMLD and learning difficulties.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Help students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.
  • Support pupils both academically and socially.
  • Assist with personal care where required (training provided where appropriate).
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with students and staff.
  • Adapt to the needs of different schools and individual learners.

We're Looking For

✅ Previous experience working within schools, youth work, care settings, coaching, mentoring, or SEN environments.

✅ A genuine passion for supporting young people.

✅ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

✅ A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude.

✅ The ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.

✅ Experience supporting SEN students is highly desirable.

✅ A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

✅ Full-time availability Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
