Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Christchurch

Are you a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role? One of our fantastic primary schools in Christchurch is seeking a dedicated professional to provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s life, working within a supportive and welcoming school environment.

What the role involves:

  • Providing 1:1 support to a child with SEN

  • Supporting learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing

  • Assisting with classroom activities and helping the child access the curriculum

  • Working closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff

  • Encouraging independence and confidence in the child

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children with SEN

  • Is patient, reliable, and compassionate

  • Can work independently and as part of a team

  • Has a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
