Do you have a strong desire to provide support, guidance, and care to students with SEMH, difficult upbringings and backgrounds?

If so, Teaching Personnel are looking for a number of SEMH specialist to join an Independant SEN school in the heart of Central London. 

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start
Location: Holborn (5 minute walk from Holborn and Tottenham Court Road station) 
Type: Full-Time Monday - Friday Pay: Between £80- £105 a day
Hours: 0830-1530
Pay: £85 - £105 per day (PAYE)

About the school: Independant SEN school supporting children with mild SEM.

These children range from both primary and secondary ages where they need extra support and assistance with subjects in school. You will have 2 pupils during the day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students in various learning activities.
– Helping with core subjects as well as community projects.
- Supporting students' communication development through various strategies and tools.
- Building relationships, gaining the trust of the pupils, managing behaviour and communication within their homes and community.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with students with SEMH is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with individuals with special needs.
- Ability to adapt and tailor support strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
