Nurture Provision Teaching Assistant
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday to Friday
Start Date: September 2025
Age Group: All primary ages

Are you nurturing, patient, and passionate about helping little learners thrive?
A warm and welcoming Cardiff nursery is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support children with additional learning needs in a small, supportive nurture provision starting this September.


Your Role Will Include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with ALN/SEN
• Offering comfort and reassurance to a small class of around 10 children
• Leading sensory-based activities to help children stay calm, focused, and engaged
• Promoting communication, emotional regulation & social skills
• Working closely with teachers, ALN staff, and external professionals


What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in a  school, or SEN/ALN environment
• A warm, gentle and encouraging nature
• Confidence supporting young children with additional needs
• Minimum GCSE Grade C in English & Maths
Full-time availability for the full academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
