Immediate start

Term time only - Full time Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm

We are currently working in partnership with an alternative provision in Camden who are looking for creative teaching assistants to work with secondary aged pupils with various SEN needs; from Autism to behavioural difficulties. As a SEN teaching assistant here you will be delivering interactive 1:1 sessions on Literary and Numeracy subjects tailored to individuals SEN pupils’ needs. This is a fantastic provision that provide the opportunity for professional development with comprehensive SEN training for all new teaching assistants. Permanent contracts will be available to successful teaching assistants who complete the internal training programme.

1:1 SEN teaching assistant:

  • Deliver  fun , interactive 1:1 sessions on Literacy and Numeracy to SEN pupils
  • Able to write evaluation from 1:1 sessions of progress to parents and head teacher
  • Able to tailor sessions to SEN learners needs
  • Creative , confident , professional personality
  • Comprehensive Training provided
  • Permanent contracts available

Previous experience with SEN would be an advantage but not essential as you will be provided on the job support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
