SEN teaching assistants needed!

We are looking to recruit both full time and part time SEN teaching assistants to support the schools we work with in Suffolk.

The roles on offer vary from 1-2 days a week up to 5 days, with working hours being 8:30 – 15:30.

We have the option to start immediately, or we are also recruiting now for roles starting in September.

Whilst classroom experience is desirable, it’s not essential.

You might come from a care background, have personal experience with SEN, have relevant qualifications, or might be starting out and looking for a career within education.

Typical TA Duties can include:

  • Working with SEN students who need additional support either on 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Motivating and inspiring children to learn and participate in lesson.
  • Attend weeklyl training sessions / meetings.
  • Support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management.
  • Help to keep the classroom clean and tidy.
  • Some schools require personal care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
