We are seeking Learning Support Assistants for a setting that caters for 16 – 18 year olds.

Immediate start available!

Your role will be to work with students that have Special Educational Needs, that need support in overcoming specific learning barriers. Additional needs include Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Autism, physical and other learning disabilities.

This role is highly rewarding, and the successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Empathetic to the needs of students
  • A good communicator
  • Ability to relate to young adults that have a range of additional needs
  • Great enthusiasm.

You will mainly be working with students on a 1:1 basis, or in small groups, to ensure that they receive support within their learning, to ensure personal learning targets are met.

Although relevant qualifications are desirable, we welcome any applicants with any personal or professional experiences supporting individuals with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
