Teaching Assistant

Location: Bristol (BS35)
Hourly Rate: £12.87 – £14.03
Full Time | Monday – Friday

This specialist setting is a bespoke school for young people aged 11–16 with SEMH needs, combining the very best of mainstream and special education. The result? A nurturing, structured environment where pupils feel safe, supported and empowered to achieve their personal goals and truly thrive .

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing and personal development, ensuring every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential within a calm, caring and inclusive environment.

This role may involve personal care where required, alongside supporting positive behaviour through a tailored, individualised approach that meets each pupil where they are.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build warm, trusting relationships with pupils so they feel safe, valued and ready to learn

  • Encourage independence and personal growth while maintaining consistently high expectations of behaviour

  • Support the delivery of engaging

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
