Locations: Bristol, Bath & Gloucestershire
Start Date: September 2025

Are you a sports coach looking for a new and rewarding challenge? ⚽

Teaching Personnel is excited to recruit the next generation of Teaching Assistants for the 2025/2026 academic year! We're seeking energetic, empathetic, and committed individuals to support students with special educational needs (SEN). These may include mental health conditions, communication difficulties, behavioural or emotional challenges, and physical disabilities.

Whether you're currently working in education or transitioning from a sports coaching background, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 5 to 16. ‍


What the Role Involves:

  • Supporting students with SEN both one-on-one and in small groups

  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to enhance learning and well-being ✨

  • Building strong relationships with students, helping them feel safe and supported ❤️

  • Assisting with classwork, activities, and tailored learning interventions


What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for education and helping young people reach their potential

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills ️

  • A background in sports coaching – ideal but not essential ‍♂️⚽

  • Experience with SEN or challenging behaviour (personal or professional) is a plus

  • Previous school experience is welcomed but not required – enthusiasm matters most!

Working Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (may vary by school)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
