Behaviour Support Worker – SEMH School (Bristol)

Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Long-Term Role
£92–£105 per day | Immediate / September Start


We are working with a specialist SEMH school in Bristol seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join their team.

This is a role for someone who is confident supporting behaviour and understands the importance of consistency, structure and strong relationships in helping young people succeed.

You will be working with pupils who require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement, playing a key part in their day-to-day progress in school.


The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Support pupils with SEMH needs, behaviour and routines
  • De-escalate situations using calm and consistent approaches
  • Build positive, professional relationships with pupils
  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams
  • Maintain clear expectations and structured environments

This is a hands-on role where your presence, consistency and approach will directly impact how pupils engage with school.
