Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor

 

Location: Bridgend

Salary: Starting from £89.38

Contract: full time/part time available

Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to join our vibrant and supportive team for a provision we support in the Bridgend area. About the provision:

Located in Bridgend, Teaching Personnel are happy to support a community day special school catering to pupils aged 7 to 19 years. The school supports learners with complex emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties, as well as specific learning needs and autistic spectrum disorders (ASD).

The pupils often arrive having previously experienced disrupted education. The school prides itself on offering a fresh start and a nurturing setting where every child is encouraged to succeed. If this sounds like something that aligns with you and your beliefs, then we want to hear from you!

The Role

We are looking for Teaching Assistants / Cover supervisors who can:

-          Support pupils with challenging behaviours in a calm, consistent, and empathetic manner

-          Deliver and supervise learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff

-          Foster a safe and engaging classroom environment

-          Work flexibly across age groups and learning stages

-          Be proactive and enthusiastic individuals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
