SEN Teaching Assistant.

 Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEN TA to fill a role starting in the September in a single form entry primary school in Beccles- This role would involve supporting a child with ASC on a 1:1 basis. The pupil in question is in KS2 and would require support throughout the school day, this would involve but may not be limited to- Behavioural guidance , assistance building strong relationships with his teacher/co-pupils and extra work support. You would also be required to run 1:1 sessions with the pupil outside of the classroom, this time can be used to discuss progress and what the pupils is enjoying and aspect they find more challenging. 

The role would also include:

• Supporting the pupil throughout the school day
• Upholding the values of the school at all times
• Aiding with the set up and set down of the classroom
• Maintaining high levels of health and safety over the pupils
• Aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the class

The ideal candidate would have:

• Experience working in a Teaching Assistant role
• Experience working with SEN pupils
• Safeguarding training 
• Teaching assistant qualifications
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the Update service 
• A hard working and positive attitude to all aspects of work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
