SEN Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe

TA required for Primary class in a SEN School in High Wycombe

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work in a Primary class within a SEN School in the High Wycombe area. The school caters for students aged 4-19 with Autism, MLD, ADHD, PMLD & SEMH. All the classes are small and operate in well equipped classrooms that allow for all students to learn in a positive, safe and welcoming environment. Although this position is working with Primary students, the school are open to applications from TA's looking to work with other age groups as there may be a number of other roles becoming available in the near future.

The successful person will be someone with a confident yet calming personality and someone who is willing to get involved with engaging all students with both the curriculum and their social progression. Although previous experience in a similar setting would be beneficial, someone who has general childcare experience, a psychology degree or other relevant experience or training would be considered. You will need to be willing to work with students on a 1:1 basis or within small groups.
