SEN Teaching Assistant – East London (September 2025 Start)

Teaching Personnel is looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in specialist schools across East London, including:

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of pupils with SEND, starting in September 2025.
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, complex needs, and PMLD.
- Assist with personal care (experience is a plus).
- Use Team Teach strategies (training available if needed) to promote positive behaviour.
- Work alongside teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to create a supportive learning environment.

Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting children with SEND (in schools, care, or voluntary settings).
- Personal care or Team Teach experience is beneficial but not essential.
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.
- Willingness to learn and engage in training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
