SEN teaching Assistant - Bolton - Full time from September
Would you like to secure a position as an SEN teaching assistant within a secondary school where you can make a positive impact on children that have special education needs?
If so, Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN teaching assistants for an 'Outstanding' client school in the Bolton area. This is an extremely rewarding career where you will be supporting children through daily school life.
- Full time SEN teaching assistant position - September start
- You will be support the learning of SEN pupils across all curriculum areas
- It is essential that you have experience working with SEN pupils aged between 11-16
- Weekly pay of £270 - £325 experience dependant
Due to an increased number of SEN students on roll, this Bolton based secondary school are looking to add a number of SEN teaching assistants to their support department. The successful applicants will have a number of different responsibilities which include; supporting pupils who have mild learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis, monitoring behaviour and attainment levels and supporting the class teacher when needed.
This is a position which is suitable for both graduates who are looking for a career as a teacher in the future or experienced teaching assistants. You must be confident and calm when providing support to individual students and be able to promote good learning and behaviour. You will be an excellent role model to the identified students and be able to have a positive impact on their daily school life.

This school is located in the Farnworth and serves a wide catchment area within and beyond Bolton, it is larger than average and boasts to be in the top 3% schools nationally. It has strong public transport links and can be easily accessible from surrounding areas; Bolton, Bury, Salford and Wigan.
