SEN Teacher – LS10 (South Leeds)

Location: LS10, South Leeds
Pay: £160 – £210 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Short-term, long-term & temp-to-perm opportunities

We’re looking for a passionate and adaptable SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced specialist provision in South Leeds (LS10).

This role would suit a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience working with SEN, SEMH, or PMLD learners who thrives in an inclusive, nurturing setting. You’ll plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students with a range of abilities, supporting communication, independence, and wellbeing.

You will work closely with skilled support staff and therapists to create a positive learning environment where every child can achieve their potential.

Requirements:

  • QTS/QTLS (or equivalent teaching qualification)

  • Experience teaching learners with additional needs (SEN, SEMH, ASD, PMLD, etc.)

  • Confident with communication aids, sensory-based learning, and behaviour management

  • Moving & Handling and Personal Care training desirable

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
