SEN TEACHER - Full Time Position

About Us: Teaching Personnel is a leading education recruitment agency committed to connecting skilled educators with rewarding opportunities. We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in the north of Birmingham.

Role Overview: As a Qualified SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for working with a key stage 2 class in a specialist school catering to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role offers a Full Time Position with an immediate start, and for the right individual, the potential for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN, specifically Autism (ASD).
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the academic and personal development of each student.
  • Work with other members of the school staff, parents, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ ECT and NQT will also be considered.
  • Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, particularly Autism (ASD)
  • A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
