Are you an individual with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? We’re looking for a dedicated, compassionate, patient and eager individual who can support foster an inclusive learning environment, and make a difference to the school community in and around Derbyshire.
We would like to hear from Qualified Teachers, ECTS with SEND experience.
Location: Derbyshire
Salary: Competitive, Salary based on experience. Pay to Scale.
Role Highlights:
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and progress.
- Employ various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Implement effective teaching strategies.
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities, such as clubs and competitions, enhancing student engagement and enjoyment of the wider curriculum.
- Support a number of children with additional needs.
- Adapt teaching and learning to best support each child individually.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
- Strong Subject Knowledge.
- Experience in SEND settings
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their maximum potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, willingness, and adaptability to contribute to wider school curriculum and the community.
- Excellent behaviour management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
