Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives who have faced trauma and struggling to navigate life? Teaching Personnel is offering a number of flexible teaching roles which allows you to tailor work into your schedule whilst teaching at multiple locations. You’ll be working in line with the National Curriculum teaching KS1 – KS4 starting at 8:30am – 3:30pm.

We’re looking for someone who is confident with de-escalating challenging behaviour and possess strong behaviour management skills, able to work in different provisions and are highly reliable. Most Importantly this role requires you to be empathetic and patient as this is what these children need.

About the role:

-          Small class sizes which creates strong relationships with the students

-          Teaching Assistants present in all classes as pupils are supported 1:1

-          Planning is prepared and no marking, so you leave work at the school gate

-          Monday- Friday (08:30-3:30). Work fits into your life which creates a healthy work/life balance

What you need:

-          QTS (qualified teacher status)

-          Prior experience working with children with SEND needs.

-          To be adaptable and resilient in challenging environments

Benefits:

-          Earn over £20 p/hr, but can be paid to scale if marking and planning is expected

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
