SEN Teacher
Job description
Do you believe that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn? We are looking for a warm, empathetic, and committed SEN Teacher to join our caring team. In this rewarding role, you’ll help nurture the unique strengths of our pupils by delivering a mixed, child-centred curriculum that supports both academic and emotional development.
As our new SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum incorporating elements of the national curriculum, life skills, and personalised learning pathways.

Work with pupils with unique needs including ASD, SEMH, and/or complex learning difficulties.

Collaborate closely with LSAs, therapists, and other professionals to create a nurturing and structured environment.

Monitor and assess progress using a range of strategies, adapting your approach as needed to ensure all students thrive.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
-
Holds QTS with experience or training in SEN education.
-
Is flexible and creative in their teaching approach, with the ability to differentiate effectively.

Has a solid understanding of EHCPs, behaviour support, and inclusive teaching.

Brings patience, compassion, and enthusiasm to every lesson.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
