Job Title: SEN Primary Teacher 

Pay Rate: Supply Rate (£100-£140) Or Main Scale

Start Date: September/ASAP (Once Vetting Completed)

Location: Weymouth

Job Description: As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with special educational needs.

You will work closely with individual students or small groups to tailor your teaching methods and approaches to suit their specific requirements.

Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing students' progress, and collaborating with other educators and support staff to ensure each student's needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of SEN students.
• Adapt teaching materials and methodologies to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
• Provide individualized support and attention to students with SEN, fostering their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and track students' progress, implementing relevant strategies for improvement.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff, promoting effective communication and support.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with students with special educational needs is ideal.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Passionate about creating a positive impact on students' lives and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
