Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a Specialist school who are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join their team, supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and multi-sensory impairments (MSI).

The school supports learners with a wide range of needs, including profound and severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autism, medical and communication needs. The school is well resourced and staffed by a committed multidisciplinary team, including specialist teaching assistants, therapists and support professionals.
The Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, personalised learning tailored to pupils with complex needs
- Plan and assess learning in line with EHCP outcomes
- Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families
- Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and reports
- Promote communication, independence and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate
We welcome applications from experienced SEND teachers and teachers with a strong interest in specialist education.
You will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience or a genuine passion for working with pupils with profound, severe and complex needs
- Be patient, resilient and flexible in your approach
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
