Empower Young Lives: SEN Teacher (QTS) – Poole

Are you a passionate educator ready to transform lives through inclusive, meaningful teaching?

We’re looking for exceptional SEN Teachers (QTS) to join a group of forward-thinking specialist schools in Poole, supporting students aged 3 to 19 across both primary and secondary phases.

This part-time position starts in September 2025, with the opportunity to begin sooner in a part-time or full-time capacity. Hours are 8.30am–4pm, Monday to Friday.

Your Role

  • Deliver differentiated, engaging lessons that meet EHCP targets

  • Foster progress in communication, independence, and life skills

  • Work closely with experienced SEN support teams and therapists

  • Adapt approaches to support a wide range of learning needs

 

What You’ll Need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience or passion for SEN and inclusive teaching

  • Confidence in managing behaviour positively and proactively

  • A flexible, patient, and creative teaching style

 

Salary

  • Full-time salary: £31,650 – £43,607 per annum

  • Part-time pay calculated pro-rata for fairness and transparency

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
