SEN Teacher- Covering SEN Schools Across Northamptonshire

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference? We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to support a range of SEN schools across Northamptonshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a variety of specialist settings, supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Location: SEN Schools across Northamptonshire

Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible

Salary: MPS/UPS 

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs

  • Support pupils with ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD and complex needs

  • Create a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and multi-agency professionals

  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies

  • Monitor progress and contribute to review meetings and reports

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working within SEN settings (desirable but not essential)

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education

  • Adaptable, resilient and patient

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Must be willing to travel and have access to transport/Driving License preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
