SEN Teacher

Are you a dedicated. Enthusiastic and experienced SEN teacher who is seeking a new challenge? Then this is the right opportunity for you. We are seeking a qualified teacher to work in one of our SEN Secondary Schools in Manchester area. You will play a vital role to providing education to young people who have a variety of needs such as
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Severe and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
- Visual and Hearing Impairments (VI/HI)
- Physical and Multi-Sensory Impairments (PD/MSI)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons for pupils with diverse learning profiles
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and SENCOs
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Support pupils’ emotional well-being and social development
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEN pupils is highly desirable
- Must hold a valid Child & Adult Workforce DBS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
