- Work with a team of specialist support staff to guide the help that they give within lessons
- Teach multiple subjects at a primary level to give an overview of the curriculum to the level that suits learners
For these roles, you should:
- Have previous experience teaching in an SEN school, specialist provision, or have extensive teaching experience within mainstream schools where you have worked with SEN children
- Be confident in leading classes for students who may require a different level and method of learning
- Be able to lead a team of classroom staff to ensure all care needs are met
- Be confident with possibly challenging behaviour from students and be willing to undertake qualifications to ensure this is dealt with in an approved and safe way.
- Have experience providing in depth feedback of progression within school to parents, carers and other members of staff
