Job description

SEN Teacher 

We are recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to work across a range of specialist and inclusive school settings throughout Surrey. Opportunities are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with all subject specialisms welcome.

These roles are ideal for teachers who are committed to supporting pupils with additional needs and making a meaningful difference to their educational journey.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs

  • Teach students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, ASD and complex needs

  • Adapt the curriculum to support progress across academic, social and emotional development

  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families

Who We’re Looking For

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience in SEN settings is desirable but not essential

  • Subject specialists and general SEN teachers are equally encouraged to apply

  • Patient, resilient and passionate about inclusive education

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
