SEN Teacher  (Secondary)

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teacher for an SEN school in Burnley. The school caters for children aged 11 to 16, with General Learning Difficulties. The specialist school are looking for a teacher to start in September until the end of the academic year (July 2024). The school have said there is flexibility in as to where the new staff member would be placed therefore if you are either primary or secondary trained with an interest in working within SEN Provision, please get in touch!

Ideally the school are hoping to appoint a fully qualified teacher with experience working with Specialist Provision however they have said they are open minded with regards to the applicants as to whether they are ECTs, RQTs and/or experienced FQTs.

Within this role, you would be working closely with support assistants within class and appropriately adapting the medium-term plans for the needs of the children in class. Each learner’s individual needs are taken into consideration when learning which ensures all the needs of every child are effectively met.
