Full time and part time positions available
£140 - £200 per day
Are you a qualified teacher looking for your next role for this September? Then we have the opportunity for you! Teaching Personnel are currently looking for teachers to support and nurture a class of students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) which can include but are not limited to ADHD, anxiety, communication difficulties, mental health diagnosis and specific learning needs like dyslexia, making understanding and empathy non negotiables in this role. Your job will be to deliver the schools tailored curriculum to a small class of between 8 and 10 students, with a group of teaching assistants supporting you on a day to day basis.
Position Details
- Start date – September 2025 (continuing throughout the academic year)
- Schedule – Monday to Friday, term time only (full time and part time positions available)
- Location Bristol (BS30 Area)
- Potential to transition to contract with the school for the right candidate (if desirable)
Requirements
- UK qualifies teacher status (QTS) and verification of this qualification
- A child only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through teaching personnel)
- A right to work in the united kingdom
- 2 proofs of address
- References from your last 2 working years
What you’ll do?
- Plan and teach lessons in line with the school’s curriculum, ensuring the students remain engaged throughout the lessons contents
- Mark students work and provide individual feedback to each student, allowing them to understand the possible gaps in knowledge and understanding, as well as giving them the confidence to improve their knowledge.
- Set clear learning targets for each student, ensuring it is realistic and in line with their developments
- Develop a trusting bond with the students you work with, ensuring they feel safe within your environment, allowing them to thrive not only academically but also emotionally
- Foster professional relationships with fellow teaching staff in your classroom and across the school
Who are we looking for?
- Someone with a genuine passion for education who is looking to start or continue their career in education
- Strong behavioural management and communication skills
- Experience within an educational setting is always desirable but not essential, if you’re a newly qualified teacher looking for your first role we’d love to hear from you as well!
- Experience within SEN is desirable, whether it be professionally or personally, but again is not a necessity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
