Primary SEN Teacher (Qualified)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive setting in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher with experience or a strong interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with additional needs.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching to pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties, ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
- Support pupils with a range of SEN, adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and external agencies
- Monitor, assess and track pupil progress effectively
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Requirements
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within a primary and SEN setting
- Strong understanding of SEND needs and inclusive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
Desirable:
- Team Teach or other behaviour management training
- Experience working with EHCPs and personalised learning plans

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
