Are you passionate about making education accessible for all? TP Tutors is looking for compassionate and committed tutors to support learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Alvaston, Derbyshire.

About the Role
We are seeking experienced individuals to provide high-quality, individualised tuition for SEN learners, either one-to-one or in small group settings. Whether you are an experienced SEN tutor or come from a background in education or care, this is your opportunity to help learners overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver tailored sessions to meet the specific needs of SEN learners

  • Use adaptable strategies to support a range of learning difficulties and behavioural needs

  • Track progress and respond flexibly to each learner’s development

  • Build confidence, resilience, and independent learning skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in tutoring, teaching, or supporting learners with SEN

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Understanding of different learning needs, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and SEMH

  • A teaching or SEN qualification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
