SEN Teacher – Harrogate
Location: Harrogate
Pay: £160 – £210 per day
Contract: Full-Time | Short-Term & Long-Term Opportunities
A specialist SEN provision in Harrogate is seeking a committed SEN Teacher to work with children and young people with complex learning needs, including autism, SEMH, and communication difficulties.
You’ll be joining a supportive, inclusive team with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing and personalised learning.
Role Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual learning needs
• Support pupils with EHCP outcomes
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and therapists
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews
Requirements:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
✅ Experience in SEN or inclusive settings
✅ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
✅ Passion for supporting vulnerable learners
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
