SEN Resource Base Teacher – Mainstream Primary (B6, Birmingham)
Fixed-term contract for a minimum of one academic year, starting September

Are you an experienced primary teacher with SEN experience? Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a SEN resource base role in a mainstream primary school in B6, Birmingham. This role offers stability with a minimum one-year contract and the chance to support children with special educational needs within a mainstream setting. The class has 8 students and multiple TAs to support.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored lessons and support to SEN pupils in the resource base.

Adapt teaching materials to meet individual needs and promote inclusion.

Manage behaviour and support emotional wellbeing following school policies.

Work closely with SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEPs.
-
Uphold safeguarding procedures and professional standards.
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with SEN experience in primary schools.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
-
Flexibility to work across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
