The successful applicant will work alongside the SEN department supporting pupils with a wide variety of additional needs and assisting them in reaching the curriculum.

Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant is a very important and rewarding role where every day will offer you different challenges, due to this patience and dedication is a must. You will be required to support each pupils individual needs and use your initiative to assist in their development, reporting on progress weekly.

Duties of an SEN Teaching Assistant include:

• Supporting pupils on their individual needs, whether these are educational, emotional, physical or behaviour related.
• Help boost self esteem and drive them to reach their individual targets
• Build rapport with pupils, staff and parents.
• Support the SEN department, delivering individual plans for pupils and reporting on progress weekly
• Being confident and able to work with a wide variety of SEN
