SEN TA required in Blackpool

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with special needs? This is the role for you!

Our specialist client school are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support the needs of their pupils in Blackpool.

The school admits boys and girls with a range of special educational needs. The majority experience severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autistic spectrum conditions. An increasing number have very complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Pupils can start here at any age but many join the school when they are very young, between the ages of two and five. Most continue beyond the school leaving age into the sixth form.

You will ideally be interested in offering hydrotherapy support but this is not essential.

Ideally you will come from a background in supporting children or adults with SEN or have a genuine passion to provide high quality to support to young people. We also welcome applicants who have experience in working in care homes, mainstream schools, holiday clubs, nurseries and those who have done Camp America or sports coaching. Please note, you must be willing to prove personal care to children between the ages of 4-18 and will have the ability to adapt your approach across all age groups.

This school have been known to take on staff permanently through Teaching Personnel and although we cannot guarantee it, this could be a very promising opportunity to secure yourself long-term / permanent work.
