Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic care assistant for our partner school, a primary specialist school in Manchester. The position will be working predominately with children 11-16 year old pupils who have verity of Special Education Needs. Ideally you will have a flexible nature and be prepared to cover across all years where needed.
The Manchester school strive to `create opportunities for every pupil to develop to his or her maximum potential and strive to deliver an outstanding service to all pupils and their parents.
`To ensure that pupils' individual needs are met in terms of moral, spiritual and social developments and in the acquisition of personal and social values and skills.`
The school's focus is to support pupils in a caring community where the school philosophy enables all to access the curriculum regardless of physical disability, learning disability, gender, race or culture.
Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role.
