This is a full-time role and will be working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2. The role will involve supporting pupils emotional needs and easing the transition back into the classroom after the lockdown period.

The Head teacher is looking for a teaching assistant with previous experience of working with children with special educational needs. Due to gaps in pupil education, the successful candidate will be required to deliver interventions to close gaps and raise attainment.  

This Bury based primary school is smaller than average and is an inclusive and happy school which focuses on ensuring all their pupils are happy, safe and reach their individual potential. It not only aims to develop positive attitudes to the pupils in school and to the communities they contribute too.

The school is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has a specialist sensory provision for children going into crisis. The school has a strong and supportive senior leadership team and an inclusive community ethos.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
