Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an excellent school based in near Tottington, Bury.   • Salary from GBP285 - 300 a week

The role:

This role will require possible candidates to provide one to one support to a year 3 student with particular speech, language and communication needs. This will include conducting intervention sessions and accommodating to the complex needs of this pupil. Being able to monitor and evaluate their pupils progression and provide suitable feedback is essential, similarly they must be able to adapt and support their needs throughout. 

The ideal candidate: 

  • MUST have speech, language and communication experience or training
  • MUST have experience supporting pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties
  • MUST have a good understanding/knowledge of teaching the English national curriculum in schools

The school: 

Based in the heart of Bury and with excellent transport links, this school is looking for a positive and independent teaching assistant to contribute to the learning of their pupils.

You will be working closely with vulnerable students who provide specialist support, including physical, emotional and educational support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
