Teaching Personnel are looking for a candidate who is able to support students aged 3-19 in a specialist SEN school in Batley. The school dedicates itself to giving all students a voice, regardless of any communication barrier they might encounter, and in the process helping them to become more independent and empowered. The school caters to students with a range of diverse and complex Special Educational Needs that cannot be fully met in mainstream schools. The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and has incredible resources such as a hydrotherapy pool, a rebound therapy room, sensory room, green screen technology, augmentative and assisted communication technology, extensive grounds and well organised classrooms.
We are currently looking for candidates who are able and willing to commit to full time hours. You must have the Moving and Handling qualification as an essential requirement and any other SEN training is desirable such as makaton and PECs training.
Teaching Personnel is the leading education recruitment agency in the UK and the benefits of working with us include:
- Ongoing CPD
- The opportunity to gain experience and kick start your career in education and care in a professional and supportive environment
- The support of a dedicated consultant
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
