Day Rate: £90 - £100 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Description:

The role will involve providing tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver personalised interventions and help create a calm, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Implement behaviour strategies and pupil-specific support plans.
- Foster emotional regulation and social interaction through positive reinforcement.
- Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and EHCP targets.
- Liaise with teaching staff, SENCo, and external professionals as required.
- Promote inclusion and independence at every stage of the school day.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary setting.
- Confidence working with pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Calm, empathetic, and consistent approach to behaviour and emotional support.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take part in relevant training.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
