We are looking for a dedicated Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) provision, where your work will directly contribute to the growth and development of children who need it most.

The Role:
We are seeking a Teacher who can deliver engaging, creative, and high-quality lessons while understanding and supporting the individual needs of the pupils. You do not need previous experience in an SEMH setting, but you must bring empathy, patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to support children with high needs and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a rich curriculum tailored to learners across key stages.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students in developing their social, emotional, and behavioural skills through creative expression.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address students’ barriers to learning and personal development.
- Contribute to enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom that support independence, community inclusion, health, and employability.
About You
You will need to be:
- A qualified teacher or holder of an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Able to deliver consistently high-quality teaching and learning in Art across key stages.
- Committed to meeting the needs of vulnerable learners, including pupils with SEND, those in care, and those with significant emotional or behavioural challenges.
- A reflective practitioner, resilient and passionate about inclusive education.
- A team player who values collaboration, communication, and the development of positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Open to continuous professional development and empowered to develop your practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
