Teaching Personnel is currently seeking new teaching assistants in the East Grinstead are, skills that are required; caring and empathetic nature towards pupils. The needs of attending pupils are varied, but may include:

• Patients and Enthusiasm
• Literacy and Numeracy skills
• Good organisational skills
• • Show a caring and empathetic nature towards pupils

The Role:

We work closely with many schools and academies in the area, covering all positions from 1:1 intervention, teaching assistants and general cover. The role will operate between 8:30 - 15:30, Monday - Friday. Full time is preferred but part time applicants may still apply, as job shares can be available. 

The Candidate:

Applicants must be able to- Nurture and develop the pupil’s social and academic potential, maintain records to show students progress where necessary, be able to assist in basic teaching and planning for lessons and small groups when needed. A minimum of GCSE English and Maths (A-C) in a minimum requirement; with further education being beneficial. Additional qualifications which may be useful include: Team Teach or PECS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
