PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT – SEN PROVISION – BIRMINGHAM, UK – FULL TIME
Do you have experience in care? And are comfortable with personal care? If yes, then we would love to hear from you.
Teaching Personnel works with special schools in and around Birmingham who are looking for Personal Care Assistants to work within a school that caters for students with additional needs. All students at the specials school have an Education, Health, and Care Plan’s (EHCPs).
Your role as a personal care assistant would include.
- Toileting
- Dressing
- Administrating medicine
- Feeding - Monitoring and assisting with eating and drinking, if necessary
- Moving and handling
- Helping students with their daily routines and activities
- Implementing and following individual care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the students
- Maintaining records of the care provided and reporting any changes or issues to the appropriate staff
- Being attentive to the students' emotional and behavioral needs, providing comfort and support when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
