SEN Personal Care Assistant

PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT – SEN PROVISION – BIRMINGHAM, UK – FULL TIME

Teaching Personnel works with special schools in and around Birmingham who are looking for Personal Care Assistants to work within a school that caters for students with additional needs. All students at the specials school have an Education, Health, and Care Plan’s (EHCPs).

Your role as a personal care assistant would include.

• Toileting
• Dressing
• Administrating medicine
• Feeding - Monitoring and assisting with eating and drinking, if necessary
• Moving and handling
• Helping students with their daily routines and activities
• Implementing and following individual care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
• Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the students
• Maintaining records of the care provided and reporting any changes or issues to the appropriate staff
• Being attentive to the students' emotional and behavioral needs, providing comfort and support when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
