SEN Learning Support Assistant (Temp to Perm)
Location: South Wirral
Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
Start Date: Immediate
Agency: Teaching Personnel

Salary: £90 - £100 per day, depending on experience

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants for immediate, full-time roles at a Good Ofsted-rated school in the South Wirral. These roles are temp-to-perm, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidates.

The Role:

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Assist with learning, engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable experience welcomed)
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
