Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Learning/Behaviour Support Assistant for a partner school based in Colchester. The role is temporary with the potential to go permanent and to commence after Easter.
The school focuses on inspiring their students by providing a nurturing environment in which they can develop and transform. They are looking for someone to be committed and enthusiastic in order to establish positive relationships with students and offer support to regulate their feelings.
You will be supporting Secondary aged pupils with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health needs. A typical day will involve supporting pupils with their emotional well-being, enabling pupils to access academic work and helping to grow their self esteem and confidence.
Pupils at the school have a range of complex needs which include behaviours that can challenge, ADHD, autism and anxiety. Some pupils are looked after children, living in foster care and come from difficult backgrounds.

Teaching Personnel can offer competitive rates of pay of GBP300-GBP350 per week as well as the opportunity to up skill your professional development by utilising our CPD Academy.
