Graduate roles within SEN schools - Sheffield

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for enthusiastic Graduates to join our workforce across South Yorkshire. We are particularly keen to speak with individuals with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and looking to start a career within the education sector.

Our schools range from early years through to secondary and post 16 with a range of SEN (including Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD & SLD) Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH). Initially we would like you to be flexible and happy to begin short term supply work whilst we look for an ideal long term role for you. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support children with various Special Educational Needs and a chance to showcase your skills.

You will be required to support pupils of ranging abilities and reengaged them as fully as possible to the curriculum. Your role will include nurture and offer additional support with communication, PECS and you may also gain experiences using British Sign Language and/or Makaton, so training in either of these would be beneficial to any SEN role.



We require candidates to apply who are passionate in assisting children with SEN to access the curriculum. An understanding and flexible nature is essential and our schools particularly look for individuals who are proactive, empathetic, engaging and creative.
