SEN General Teaching Assistant

LSA with SEN experience required for full time role starting immediately at a school in Croydon

• 15 minute walk from Waddon train station
• Large SEN department with friendly and dedicated SENCO
• £65 - £75 daily rate

A school based a short walk from Waddon train station in Croydon South West London, are seeking to appoint a dedicated LSA to join their busy and rapidly expanding team. The school have seen an impressive growth in GCSE results over the past three years, the SEN team have had an increasing involvement in achieving these grades, the department received specific praise in the schools most recent Ofsted report.

You will be working with pupils needing additional support with their studies, so a strong understanding of Maths and English will be required. The role include you working with pupils with mild SEN, including Autism and behaviour difficulties. Therefore experience working with pupils with these difficulties, be it within education or elsewhere, is essential. You must have good presence and a calm manner whilst working with students with these characteristics.
