SEN Teaching Assistant- Personal Care

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large Secondary in the Leeds area of West Yorkshire who are seeking an experienced support assistant to join their SEN team starting ASAP. You would be working mainly 1:1 with a student who is physically disabled and therefore requires assistance with all aspects of personal care. The school are seeking someone with experience and training in delivering personal care, however this does not nessicarily have to be from within a school environment, perhaps you have experience in social care or nursing which would give you these transferable skills.

The role would be full time until the end of the Summer term (July 2016) in the first instance, however would be likely to continue beyond this point. The school is easily accessed via public transport due to being a 5 minute walk from a regular bus route, and via car it is just a short distance from the M62 so easily reached from most areas within West Yorkshire.

Candidates working through Teaching Personnel also have access to a range of CPD training courses including; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, Moving & Handling, NASEN etc.
