Are you seeking a rewarding role in Education, one that allows you to use your skills and personality to help young people in their learning? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to work with children with various learning difficulties and disabilities on their educational journey at a school that we work very closely with. Our fantastic SEN School is currently looking for a motivated teaching assistant with the ability to use initiative and take differentiated approaches to learning for students with a variety of needs such as Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autism and Speech, Language and Communication difficulties.
The position is for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work with secondary aged children with a diagnosis of Moderate learning difficulties, Autism and Speech, Language and Communication difficulties. Due to the nature of SEN, some pupils may exhibit additional needs as a result, such as challenging behaviour, and it is important to remember that every day is different. The school which is based in Portsmouth, provides an inclusive learning environment, working closely in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams to fully support their pupils to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will need to have:
* Passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Comfortable working with challenging behaviour
* Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
* Dedication to committing 5 days a week
If you feel you're the right person for this role, we want to hear from you!
